Clear Reorder workfile F4371 using R437002

hi

we are using R437002 with PO value "2 = Proof Mode and Write to WorkFile".

Consider following scenario-

1. R437002 is executed to update the work file

2. Work file is updated and saved. But, no purchase order is generated.

3. R437002 is again executed without removing / clearing the data from work file.

Will the step 3 create a fresh data set? Will R437002 first clears all the data in work file and then insert a fresh data set? Or will R437002 keep the old data in workfile as it is & just updated / apend the new data on top of existing data?
