JD Edwards Solutions Explorer, E1LOCAL and Radius
We're trying to enable radius authentication and have run into a roadblock with JD Edwards and the E1Local database instance that it installs on JDE Developer pc's.
We can work around the issue by adding our pc's IP address into the radius server, but this is not ideal.
The E1LOCAL instance is installed with it's own oracle home, and it's own listener.ora, sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora. To launch the console users need to run the Solutions Explorer icon with an admin password which launches another separate console that users log in with their normal credentials.
Has anyone else run into this issue and been able to resolve it?
