Siebel File Re-attachment issue

Siebel 8.1.1.14 Patchset 11 Open UI

Navigate to any view having attachments and follow the steps.

1. Attach a file using new file button .

2. Edit the document in your local drive and try attaching the same file again using new file button.

3. A record gets created with the same file bur you would receive a message when you step off the record saying that the same file already exists ,would you like to replace it ?

4. If you click on yes button , it deletes the recent record

This can cause control issue, if the user doesnt know what he / she is doing. How can this replace be disabled
