Transacting Inventory During GL Month End Close

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question.  We are in a bind here when it comes to the amount of time it takes to close the month.

Currently, it takes a few hours to close the month - the problem comes with not transacting inventory during the close.

How do you get around this?  We need to be able to transact and conduct business as usual.  I can see why for a physical inventory, but then you freeze the inventory during counting.  I see there is a profile option "INV: Transaction Date Validation" which I am not sure will get us what we want.
