Closing Forms 12c with Java webstart with ALT F4 or red X

I have a question on Java Webstart with Forms 12c. When you have a Forms session open using Java Webstart, it's possible to close the session by using ALT F4 or using the red X in the upper right corner. But when doing so, the Forms session just closes immediately. WHEN-WINDOW-CLOSING has no time to execute. With the applet, Forms let the normal trigger activity occur, when ALT F4 or the red X is invoked. Is there any way to change this in 12c when using Webstart? Users may lose data, because the normal Forms trigger execution is not happening,
