We need to create a process to upload file from the client computer to Oracle $FILE_TOP using Oracle

Any help will be appreciated!

We would like to restrict Users direct access to Oracle $FILE_TOP directories

Current process:

Users utilize winscp to upload files from client c: drive to $FILE_TOP to perform mass external transactions in Oracle FA.

But because of SOX regulations the direct access to Oracle should be removed.

New Process:

We would like to create a link from the Oracle menu that assigned to specific responsibility to allow User who is assigned to this responsibility have ability to upload the file from c: drive to specific $FILE_TOP directory

Please advise of any opportunity to make it work
