Migrating Workspace artifact permissions

I wound up in a scenario where after I used LCM to migrate my R&A artifacts from 11.1.2.3.x to another 11.1.2.3.x instance, applied 11.1.2.4 maintenance release, my Workspace folder names were incompatible with the LCM utility.  At that point, I used File>Export/File>Import in Workspace to migrate from one 11.1.2.4 instance to another.  In doing the migration to the final instances, I lost he Workspace security on the folders and FR books.

Are there any alternatives to migrating the folder and FR Book permissions other than LCM in 11.1.2.4.x?
