How to Remove wild character from customer address.

Hello - Required to help, to remove wild character from customer address. When we trying to do the customer refund, EFT file was rejected by bank as customer address has wild character - chr(10), address value has broke down in to 2 lines, which supposed to one line. Much appreciate the any solution/workaround to fix customer location address issue.
