Disabling of E1 page icons via application security

Hi

I have applied application level security on a particular role. And this secured application is available on E1 page icon for that role.

Currently, following happens-

Users with this role can see the ICON on E1 page for secured application. If users clicks on the icon, they get an error saying "the application is not accessible". This is OK as security is working and users are not able to access the application.

But, as per me, the E1 page icons of the secured application should be visible but grey-ed out. So, the user can see the icon but should not be able to click on the icon. Is this possible?
