Upgrade R12.0.6 to R12.2.5

Hi All,

Source OS : RHEL 4.6

Apps : R12.0.6

DB : 10.2.0.3

Target : RHEL 6 / RHEL 7.

Since both DB and Apps of our Source version is not certified with RHEL 6 / RHEL 7 and the Hardware supported for RHEL 6 and Above. We cannot use our New Hardware for Upgrade Process.

The approach we decided is :

1. Prepare the server which is same as prod - Preprod

2. Clone the Prod to Pre Prod

3. Upgrade Database to 11.2.0.4  ( Database Preparation Guidelines for an Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Upgrade (Doc ID 1349240.1) )

4. Upgrade Application to R12.2.3 (Release 12.0 and 12.1 to 12.2 (Part No. E48839)

5.Upgrade Application to R12.2.5

6. Clone r12.2.5 to New Hardware
