LDOM cannot boot from ISO vdisk
LDOM cannot boot from a vdisk of an ISO image bound to it by a control domain:
{0} ok boot dvd0:f
Boot device: /virtual-devices@100/channel-devices@200/disk@1:f File and args:
ERROR: /virtual-devices@100/channel-devices@200/disk@3: Can't open disk label package
Can't open boot device
I've seen this problem discussed a few times, but cannot find a solution that works.
Environment is 4 x identical SPARC T5-2 servers, latest firmware update, Solaris 11.3 updated, and each will host 3 LDOMs running SPARC Solaris 10 1/13.
I was able to successfully install 3 LDOMs on the first (DEV) T5-2 by booting off vdisk of an ISO image but cannot repeat that on the other T5-2 servers. The ISO image is the same on the working and non-working systems and cksums of the ISO images are the same. Path to ISO is the same on all hosts and ZFS attributes (rpool/export) are the same between hosts.
