iAsset Transfers - Attachments

Currently I cannot complete a transfer using the approvals.  I have an SR logged.  In the meantime I am trying to determine the functionality as it relates to attachments.   My question is.....if I attach a document to the transfer, I am assuming the approver can open the document to view it.  But can they change it and re- attach a revised document?
