Error running EPMA shared library merge command

I had tried to run a dimension synchronization within the EPMA shared library dimension using the "merge as shared" dimension synchronization command from a Shared attribute dimension to a Local attribute dimension and ran into the following error:

All 'Hierarchy' property updates for member 'Total_Fund' were rolled back due to a validation error; please correct the properties in error indicated in the validation message and re-import the 'Hierarchy' section for this member to apply all member property updates. ValidationMessage: 'Property value 'NeverShare' is invalid for the 'DataStorage' property.'

The error shows up when I try to run a dimension synchronization from the shared library Fund to our Local Fund dimension within our application.
