Batch or Report POV set to Current Period and Year

Good morning! I was wondering if there was a way to make a batch or report run based on the most recent close month without requiring a prompt for POV member selection. We're trying to automate sending out report PDFs as email attachments using the batch scheduler and were hoping to not have to intervene. I'd be grateful for any help you can provide!
