Master and Child Work Orders in Discrete manufacturing

I have a situation where manufacturing of a product cycle spans for 3 to 4 months.

raw materials and 75-90% of the routing process are same.

final SKU's are defined based on quality and other factors. And these SKU's and quantities are derived at various time periods during the manufacturing cycle period 3-4 months.

would like to capture WO details and accounting for SKU's derived during different time periods of mfg cycle and Aggregate ALL the SKU's WO/Accounting  details at the end of mfg cycle is completed.

This process is something similar to WO process for  Apparel Shop Floor, but we are not apparel company.
