Fragmentation in AR objects in EBS

Hello, I am looking for any advise on how to handle fragmentation in EBS. The current environment has invoice archival in place and based on business requirements, the invoices are moved to an archival database and purged from the AR set of tables.

I understand the normal process to reclaim the fragmented space using compact and shrink DDL.

Has any of you running in to this fragmentation issue? I am looking for other approaches/suggestions that you may have employed.
