Do engine generates forecast for date less than max sales date also. I mean forecast is generated fo

I can see from Sales_data table current fore column that forecast got changed for even 2014. and for last 3 forecast it was exactly similar.

I am confused with dates. Is forecast also generated for past dates?

Kindly explain the date concept in  engine forecast process.

I initially thought that forecast only generate for future dates and previous forecast remains same.

kindly correct me if I am wrong.
