Unit selling price not changing even though manual override modifier is setup, R12.1.3

HI,

Our requirement is to be able to change the unit sellng price defaulting from the price list on the sales order lines.

We have setup the profile option to Unlimited for OM Priviliges. setup a manual modifier with over ride enabled.

For example, if the item has selling price of 100, we would like to change it lesser or higher value.

presently, the system overrides 100 for example as 75 or 125, but the moment we save the form, the changed price rolls back to original price 100. Thus we are not able to change or modify the selling price.

Please advise.
