Trying to start an LDOM - get WARNING Can't communicate with VDS

Hi, on two separate SPARC T5-2 servers, I try to load an LDOM:

ok  boot sol10:f

and get something similar to:

WARNING: /virtual-devices@100/channel-devices@200/disk@0: Communication error with

  Virtual Disk Server using Port 0. Retrying.

Any ideas? I've searched Google but no solutions seemed to work. Seems to be a path issue, but I've checked my drive path, and it seems to check out ok.
