AftValidate Event Script Error

It seems we had the same kind of discussion was going with the same AftValidate Event Script Error.But when I tried with same solution,But it is not working at my system.

I am trying to execute the Following script to take the differences between 2 rows 3621 and 3623 from the same column. If the amount in 3621 is not equal to amount in 3623 , it should display an error message , if the amount values of 3621 and 3623 are equal it should show success message .Scriprt is executing without errors and showing orange fish at Validate ,but not showing the error or success messages .Can anyone help on  whether my script is correct or not, how to display messages at AftValidate  script.
