How to Avoid Planner Order creation for small quantities

edited Mar 30, 2016 5:09AM in Value Chain Planning - EBS (MOSC) 13 commentsAnswered

Customer have a requirement like this

Safety Stock for FG : 1000

Onhand Quantity : 990

Planned Order created = 10

Though Safety stock is set as 1000, customer do not want to have planner order created until the onhand reaches 750 . Is there anyway we can instruct ASCP not to create planned order if the requirement is less than 250 . I mean only if the gross requirement is above 250 a planned order quantity will be created . (Customer do not want safety stock to be changed to 750 instead of 1000) . In other words customer do not want to create planned order for residual quantities like 10 or 20 .

Howdy, Stranger!
