EPM Configuration question

Hi, 

As part of current Hyperion architecture, we have 2 foundation and 2 Essbase servers in our QAT and PROD environment for the load balancing and failover. We have both Foundation servers are active/active and Essbase servers are active/passive. We are using Weblogic enterprise licensing because of clustering and distribute architect. As per the corporate new request, we would like to remove one Foundation and Essbase server from the current active environment.

 

My questions are;

 

Has anyone come across this kind of scenario?

 

How we can reconfigure and remove second instance?

 

What are the risks that we might face during the reconfiguration?
