Can we consume a forecast manually created ?

In Oracle Inventory I created a manual forecast set and its forecast. The bucket size is Days and the Consume box is active.

The forecast spans from today until the end of April. The daily forecast is 10 units.

Then I created an internal sales order for a quantity of 5x for April 7th.

When I launch the Consume Forecast process nothing happens. However if I generate a forecast based on a forecast rule, then this one is consumed.
