Can we do use Bulk Items in SD/OD (Direct ship process).

Can we do use Bulk Items in SD/OD (Direct ship process). I think we cannot reason being The BSFN F4111EditLine is responsible for bulk transaction processing, in SD/OD orders, no entry is made to the cardex (F4111) and the BSFN F4111EditLine is not called. I need a confirmation on this or any work around if some one has done it in a different way.
