User screen defaults - field values

I'm coming from an SAP background, so may not have the correct JDE terminology, but is there a way to default field values on a screen, per user?  Ex. - User 1 wants Branch/Plant to default to 100, User 2 wants it to default to 200, etc.  Or even default the field the same for all users?  I've seen DW processing options accomplish this, but what if the DW for that particular screen has no processing options for the field in question?
