Compatibility of Multiple Excel Add-ins

We upgraded Smart View to 11.1.2.5.410(build 015).  Our users are also upgrading to Office 2013.  After the Office upgrade when they open a file that contains another addin in Excel, Excel crashes if the Smart View addin is loaded.  The only solution we have found is to disable the Smart View addin before opening this other file containing a different addin.  This works, but is getting very annoying to our users.  Is there any way around having to always disable the Smart View addin?
