Plan for 1094-C and communications testing required by IRS
I was wondering if Oracle is able to comment on something I've heard on the IRS's monthly webinar/calls regarding electronic filing of the 1094 form and 1095's. I know that Oracle is still working on the ACA Phase 3 patch which will deliver the functionality to create the 1094/1095 file that needs to go to the IRS by Jun 30, 2016.
If I've understood the IRS correctly Oracle clients will be required to pass a communications test with the IRS once we are able to generate a file for the 1094 and 1095's. Once the communications test is passed our TCC code from the IRS will be approved for their production system and then we can send in our actual life file for the 2015 tax year.
