setting FND_JDBC_CONTEXT_CHECK paramater

Hi,

In our env FND_JDBC_CONTEXT_CHECK was wet to false but when I went through below doc it says to set FND_JDBC_CONTEXT_CHECK parameter to true.

How To Prevent Inactive JDBC Connections In Oracle Applications 11i and R12 (Doc ID 427759.1)


Kindly help me in understanding this parameter and whether should we set it to true or false.


Env details:


DB: 2 node RAC ( 11.2.0.3 )

Application: EBis ( 12.1.3 )
