joining between level tables and base table (such as sales_data or mdp_matrix).

Can anyone please let me know how the levels are joined with the base tables.

For example we have a level "Segment"  and table name is t_ep_p2a1

so, i queried that table and found these columns.

I didn't found any Item_id or location_id column in this table.

So my question is how this table is getting joined by other base table.

I mean what is the linking of various levels and other base tables.

Any suggestion would be very helpful for us.
