Is there a way to prevent Next Numbers from being called when running R40211Z1 ,overriding the Docum

We have an integration with Sales Force where we create a Sales Order in the F40 Z-File Tables,  when adding the records into the F4001Z table we do a next numbers lookup/update and update the EDOC field, at the same  time we Notify Sales Force of the order and pass the Next Number assigned to the Order to Sales Force. WE are currently running this in World 9.2 without issue. In World when you run the batch update P40211Z, if the Order Number field EDOC is populated it will not override it.  In E1, the R40211Z will override the Order
