Biweekly to Semi Monthly payroll

We are moving a payroll from biweekly to semi monthly.

After all the links have been created for the new payrolls and the employees moved to the new payrolls, during testing we see that the salary pay bases still show as 26 even though the new salary proposal has semi monthly.

Any idea why it is still showing biweekly and the related 26 pay periods instead of semi monthly and 24 periods?

Yes

The hours per pay period are being calculated by workdays. Oracle Support has said this is how it has to be.

But our payroll wants the system to calculate & show 86.675 (2080 hours/24 periods).
