What to do with Oracle database when the server need to change the hostname?

We have a working Oracle database with Oracle 12c standard edition. Now our IT department will have to change the server's hostname in order to follow a new agency-wise naming convention. Can anyone tell me what I should do with the Oracle database configuration with this change of hostname?
