Cannot open BIP report in Open UI as in HI

In HI, when user would generate a BIP report the generated output would open automatically depending on the default application setup for given output type. In Open UI this is no longer happening. Users either need to wait for the notification to come in and open from there or go to My BIP report view.

Is there a workaround available to achieve functionality as in HI? If not is there any customization that can be done to achieve the functionality?
