Capture Counter- SR form

Hi Team,

We are using the capture counter feature on the SR form against the item we selected on the SR header level. This feature is working fine however as per the business requirement I would like your help on the following points

1. I observed till the time SR don't get created, the counter capture option under the menu bar don't get enabled.

2. Related to the first first point, because the counter capture option dont get enabled then we cannot update the counter while creating the SR.

Please advice is there any way we can enabled the counter option after we select the item (which has the counter and IB trackable) on the SR form, or while creating the SR.
