query run slow after table modified

Hi,

App upgraded over the weekend, query take 10 times longer after the change. one of tables in the query has been modified with 3 new columns but none of 3 new columns are used in the query. We re-run the stats on the tables, oracle still picking up bad execution plan.  Do anyone know what would be the cause?  Thanks.
