Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.4 jsp Customization

Hi gurus,

I'm in an upgrade project and the older Hyperion version (11.1.1.4) has several customizations that populate combo boxes according to an user access and others.

I've done all steps to implement this customization into the vertion 11.1.2.4, but it wasn't working at all.

After reading the html sources I saw that the customization must be redone from the beginning.

Now I ask you, where do I begin?

I've never done this type of work.

What kind of development tool do I have to possess?

I'm gonna sum up my need.

The users have a dimension security level that is impossible to be implemented into the Hyperion Planning and the security depends on the members that are selected in the combo boxes of all forms.
