Can I prevent a material transaction from getting costed ?

Can I prevent a material transaction from getting costed ?

We are on FIFO Costing method. We do not want any impact to the Average Cost/FIFO Cost due to few transactions we create. We see that even if the transaction is created with zero cost, it has an impact to the average cost, which we want to prevent. Please let me know.
