Is it mandatory to keep Period members in one column to make 445 distribution work properly?

Hi, when Jan, Feb, Mar & Q1 are in one column ( in Column A , Member selection  = Jan,Feb,Mar,Q1) 445 distribution works fine (when I enter 13000 in Q1, it is automatically distributed as Jan 4000, Feb 4000 and Mar 5000). But if I move Jan to Column ‘A’, Feb to Column ‘B’, Mar to Column ‘C’ and Q1 to column ‘D’,  the amount entered in Q1 is not distributed to any month. Is it mandatory to keep Period members in one column to make 445 distribution work properly?

Additional info: Weekly distribution is defined as 445 when the Application is created. 'Enable 445 Distribution' check box is selected for the Account dimension member used in this example.

Howdy, Stranger!
