Oracle IM Advisor on AWR of Oracle 11.1

Hi,

I am using a test database on Oracle 12.1.0.2. I have a production database on Oracle 11.1.0.7. I would like to run my in-memory Advisor on my production data. However as my production is on 11.1, I wont be able to run it on production.

As mentioned in MOS Doc ID 1965343.1, and 'Running the Advisor Against AWR Data From A Different Database' section of whitepaper on 'Oracle Database In-Memory Advisor',  I came to know that the AWR of one database can be exported to another and the IM advisor can be run on that data on the new db.


I would like to know if the AWR of database on Oracle 11.1.0.7 can be exported to another database on Oracle 12.1.0.2 , and IM Advisor can be run on the database on Oracle 12.1.0.2 ?
