SQL*net break/reset to client and bad bind variables

Hello !

In a 12.1.0.2 database we experienced 3 sessions waiting on SQL*net break/reset to client fro around 45 minutes.

Doing a bit of research it seems it can be related to bad bind variables.

We do not have any  ORA-00600 [12333] / ORA-3137 [12333] which also can be seen with sql*net errrors (Doc ID 389713.1)

I enabled 10046 traces for th e3 sessions and looking at the bind data for several cursors I can see this

----- Bind Info (kkscoacd) -----

Bind#0

  oacdty=01 mxl=32(30) mxlc=00 mal=00 scl=00 pre=00

  oacflg=03 fl2=1000010 frm=02 csi=2000 siz=120 off=0

  kxsbbbfp=7ffff3fd8f08  bln=32  avl=30  flg=05

  value=0 6a 0 64 0 65 0 65 0 31 0 70 0 20 0 20 0 20 0 20 0 20 0 20 0 20 0 20 0 20

Bind#1

  oacdty=02 mxl=22(22) mxlc=00 mal=00 scl=00 pre=00

Howdy, Stranger!
