How to handle Currency conversion in ASO?

We are in Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.4 and our reporting currency is GBP. We have created a Essbase ASO cube to store the EBS Actual data. We have defined a currency dimension in ASO and are using FDMEE to move EBS Actual data into ASO cube. There are 20 different Ledgers in our client and each have their respective functional currency like USD, EUR, CHF, SGD etc. My question is when FDMEE moves data from EBS into ASO how should we map the currency code? They should be mapped to 'Local' currency or each functional currency of the ledger?  How is currency conversion handled in Hyperion in such scenario? Are the converted actual amounts (Functional currency * FX rates) moved to Hyperion or conversion rates applied to data in
