Base Model attribute on cover page of an item

Hi,

We have upgraded from 9.3.0.1 to 9.3.4 and we see a new attribute 'Base Model' on the cover page of an item with text displayed as 'No Privilege' in non editable mode. I am also unable to make this attribute  invisible. Can anyone throw some light on this?
