Hi - A simple question regarding restore points.

Hi,

   I can fully see why an error ('ORA-1153 : an incompatible media recovery is activeis encountered') when an attempt to create a restore point is made whilst database recovery is in progress, but (at 11.2.0.4) the same error occurs when a restore point is created whilst an incremental backup is being applied to the database's image copy in the FRA (to roll the image copy forward). Is this 'expected behaviour' or perhaps a bug (albeit a minor one)? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
