Intrastat reporting and purging to Sales History.

We would like to purge our Sales (F4201/F4211) to Sales History (F42019/F42119).

However, we have been advised that since we are doing Intrastat reporting in our European Branch, we should not be purging our Sales records to history.

Is this true?
