T5 with 1TB memory with Oracle Vm server how much Dump?

we have T5 with 1 tb of memory,  yet only 16 gig is used for primary domain, 16 gb secondary domain.

the OVM  use the bulk of the memory.

So how much DUMP?

Oracle doc said DUMP should be minimum 1/2 physical memory so that would mean  500GB  disk space to use for Dump.

we have 4 internal disk (300g) each  and after that devided up for OS and Swap, there would not be

adequate disk space for 500gb Dump.

I cannot imagine people use 500gb space for Dump?

is the dump only need to be big enough to cover primary and secondary domain memory which would be 32gb
