Will Using the Analyzer Bundle Menu Update the Scripts in the Database?

We have recently setup the Analyzer Bundle Menu to download the latest updates to the Analyzers.  We will use this to set up specific analyzers as Concurrent Processes for some users to access.  My question is will the download process actually run the wrapper package that updates the script in the database?  For example, for the Master GDF Diagnostic there is a wrapper script called 'ap_gdf_detect_pkg.sql' that must be run to update the date_range.sql script.  Is the Bundle Menu tool supposed to do this step as well?
