Can party relationship start date changed ?

Hello,

I added GCC ltd to the Customer Party 123 but now the site wants a different start date of 01.06.2014. When I try to create the relationship again or amend the start date I get the below error message:

I have end dated the relationship hoping that I could add a new line with the correct start date however this was not sucessful.

Error

Multiple parents are not permitted for the TCA relationship type. Please use a different relationship type.

Please advice
