Oracle BI Publisher Report generated in XLSX

Hi,


I am using Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.9. and all OOTB Reports. Report generation doesn't have any problems.

Problem is only with the format output in MS Excel (XLSX). Some of the cells in the report generated by BI Publisher are merged and make filtering difficult.  We need to identify why this is occurring.

Please advise, do i need to do anything with the properties of the report?? I have attached a sample screen shot on the cells merged in the Excel Sheet. Cell Number 40 & 41 are merged for single record, due to which filtering is becoming difficult. How to get rid of this cells merged by the report.
