preprod refresh via rman duplicate

I rebuild some preprod db via rman duplicate from a production backup.  I rename the SID of the preprod db in this process.  A developer asked if I could install the OEM agent to manage this preprod database.  If I did this and managed the preprod database and later did a refresh of the data with rman duplicate, would the OMS still be able to manage the db?  I suspect not, that there are oem objects in the db that would be destroyed (and worse brought over from production), but I wondered if there would be a way to recover
