We are newly implementing 12c RAC in our environment, this will be our first RAC setup. Have few questions in regard the same.


Setup will be as follows.

CLuster : 2 node RAC

OS : IBM AIX 7.1

Storage : VPLEX


Can we create a database with normal FS or raw LV's in a cluster, or is it mandatory to create a database with ASM disks for database files
